Who are we?

experience english is a modern, family-owned company based in London, England. The organisation is run by Jim Porter (Operations Manager) and Emma Bell (Language Consultant). Jim and Emma are both language graduates with several years of wide-ranging EFL and Foreign Language Teaching experience.

We offer a range of Language Services and we specialise in Homestay and Home Tuition.

Homestay? Home Tuition?

Many foreign learners come to Britain to study English in a language school. In Britain, the word 'Homestay' refers to living with a native family - this means the student enjoys an opportunity to experience the culture and customs of the country. Homestay is very popular and we receive more requests for this type of accommodation (whatever the student's tuition needs) than any other. Increasingly, students are preferring to live and learn in their teacher's home - this is usually known as Home Tuition. experience english offers its own Home Tuition service for foreign adult students wanting to learn English quickly and effectively in Britain.

The Homestay Providers' Network

Until recently, families and organisations that provide a Homestay/Home Tuition service in Britain have been without representation. The Homestay Providers' Network, founded by experience english, is the first national group to give a 'voice' to this sector of the British EFL industry. For an economical annual fee, members can take advantage of a range of tailor-made benefits offered by the Network.
